Dispensing Review of Use of Medicines Clinic
This clinic is run by Susan Lightfoot, Nursing Assistant in order to review patient's compliance and agreement with their prescribed medication.
The main purpose of this clinic is to help patients to understand their therapy, to allow Patients the opportunity to identify any problems they may be having and also to raise any questions about their medication.
These reviews help patients with many of the practical issues of using their medication. Such as:
• knowing how to take their medicines (with water / food)
• Identifying medicines that no longer need to be taken
• Discussing side effects
• Using devices such as inhalers or opening containers
