Baby Immunisation Clinic / Child Health Clinic
All babies are born with a little natural immunity to disease, but immunisation can offer considerable protection against certain serious illnesses. Without immunisation, children are much more vulnerable to serious infections such as meningitis C and polio.
The Immunisation Clinic offers free vaccines, which are mandated by law, to children 18 years of age and under.

The clinic runs on the first Thursday of each month jointly by Stuart Isles Health Visitor, Lynne Bryan Practice Nurse and the Doctor. The clinic operates between 10.45am and 12pm on a walk-in basis, and no appointment is required.
Normally, after a completed vaccination programme, your child should have lifelong protection against polio, probable lifelong protection against measles, mumps, rubella and meningitis C, at least ten years' protection against diphtheria and tetanus, and at least three against whooping cough.
This clinic also covers areas of child health, such as:
• Monitoring the growth and weight of your baby
• Feeding your baby
• Postnatal Care and Advice
• Advice regarding immunisations
