Family Planning clinics offer free, confidential advice and information on all aspects of contraception and sexual health. Family planning clinics can be used by women, men and young people (including patients under 16yrs of age).

 

 

 

 

This service provides:

 

• Advice about Contraception

 

• The Combined Oral Contraceptive Pill

 

• Progestogen Injections

 

• The Progestogen only Pill

 

• Limited supply of free Condoms

 

• Free Emergency Contraception

 

• Advice about Sexually transmitted Infections

 

• Cervical Screening

 

• Unplanned Pregnancy Advice

 

• Free Pregnancy Tests

 

• Pre-Contraception Advice

 

• Fitting, Checking and Removal Of Contraceptive Coils and Implants

 

Appointments are arranged by the receptionist for the Doctor or Nurse. You will not need to disclose the reason or nature of your appointment.
