Chiropody Clinic
More than 80% of people develop foot problems at some time during their life such as, corns, calluses, bunions, verrucas, papillomas, athletes' foot or ingrown toe nails.
The Chiropodist (otherwise known as a podiatrist) is dedicated to the prevention and correction of these problems and to alleviating the discomforts they cause.
Foot pain or problems can be an early indication of problems such as arthritis, diabetes, nerve and circulatory disorders and other conditions, so it is best to get your feet checked as soon as you think there may be a problem.
The clinic is run by the Chiropodist Katie every Monday between 1pm - 4pm, by appointment only.
Patients over 65 may refer themselves by telephoning the Chiropody department at Stanley Health Centre on 01207 214852, or may also be referred by the Doctor.
